A. OVERHAUL SAI Motor

The instructions contained in this section cover a complete disassembly and assembly of the

piston type fluid motor.

Drain all fluid from the motor and thoroughly clean the exterior surface. Prepare a clean, lint-

free surface on which to lay the internal parts of the motor.

1. 7/32” Allen wrench

2. Arbor Press

3. Awl

4. 1-1/2” dia. steel ball

5. Bearing puller (Owatonna Tool Co.,MD-959 or equivalent)

6. Clean lintless cloths

7. Deburring tool (an old file with the cutting teeth ground off)

8. Machinist’s hammer

9. Soft hammer

10. Loctite stud lock (red)

11. Loctite oil seal retainer (purple)

12. Medium grit carborundum stone

13. Oil and grease

14. Snap ring pliers

15. Prick punch

16. Sharp razor blade

17. Scale (1/32” or 1/64” graduations)

18. Small screwdriver

19. Torque wrench

20. Vise with 6” minimum open spread
